Welcome to Carl Vincent State Farm Insurance Agency. Our Office is conveniently located right here in Sulphur, LA to service the Sulphur, Vinton, Starks, DeQuincy, Hackberry, Lake Charles, and all other surrounding areas. I began my office in 1985. Prior to that, my father opened the first State Farm office in West Calcasieu in 1957. I have a large staff with over 226 years of experience to meet our new and existing customers needs. can help with you the following:

Myself and staff are highly invested in our communities. We have been Partners in Education with Frasch Elementary School and W. W. Lewis Middle School since 1991. I am also the President of the McNeese Softball Dugout Club, the Treasurer of the McNeese Athletic Foundation, and also serve on the Calcasieu Parish Zoning Board.

I was with the Independent Insurance for 27 years.  In this time I have been married to my High School sweet heart for 43 years. We have two children, a son and daughter with 3 beautiful granddaughters, what more could you ask for.  In 2007 I came to work for Carl Vincent  State Farm Insurance and have been here for the last 15 years.  I love working with people and helping as much as possible on what is needed to protect there home, auto and life.  I love to go camping, being out doors as much as possible and enjoying life.  Most would tell you I am the lady in the office that likes to talk, never short for words and I never meet a stranger, some might say I am the gray headed lady that wears tie-dyed to work on Fridays.

I was born in Texas but have lived in the Sulphur area since I was 7 years old.   I have been in insurance for the past 41 years and with Carl Vincent’s office for the last 30 years.   My roots are firmly planted in this community.  I love my job and I love working with our customers to service their insurance needs …. and even to just visit and swap recipes.  Our customers are more than just customers – they have become our friends and our work family.   My husband and I have 2 children and 4 grandchildren that we love spending time with.   We are also very active in the Krewe of Cosmos and the Krewe of Athena.  Finally, we are members of the First United Church in Lake Charles.
